This says 9/16-28,i am looking for a brake for 9/16-24. Will this still match the thread pitch for my .40 calibers barrel? Expert Answer

This Precision Hardcore Gear Stainless Steel Slotted Hybrid Brake will not work with those barrel threads. The muzzle brake at the link below will work for a 40 caliber barrel threaded for 9/16x24.

These are not made for a particular caliber, they are intended to be bored out to fit whatever caliber you want. All you would need to do is find the appropriate thread pitch for your barrel.
