Zeiss Optics D8 Aspheric Hand Magnifier features an aspheric lens shape which eliminates the focusing errors produced by ordinary spherical Magnifiers - so you enjoy the sharpest possible images. The lenses of these Zeiss Optics Hand Magnifiers are sized to give you the largest possible view for the chosen refractive power. The Multilayer Anti-Reflective Coating by Zeiss Optics is highly recommended to eliminate the distracting glare of sun or room lighting which can bounce off of uncoated lens surfaces and make viewing difficult. Coated lenses are a must for long periods of detail viewing, especially when you must work outdoors or under fluorescent ceiling fixtures or other uncontrollable lighting.image

All Zeiss Handheld Magnifiers use the highest-grade polycarbonate available for their lenses. This allows for reduced weight and precise shaping of the aspherical lenses. The lenses of the Zeiss D8 Magnifier are protected by a heavy application of a hardened AR (Anti-Reflective) coating, similar to that used in modern high-end eyewear. With proper care, your Zeiss D8 Magnifying Lens will retain its high quality characteristics and provide enjoyment for many years to come.
