Product Info for ZEV Technologies Universal Pro Magwell
The ZEV Technologies PRO Magwell was designed to effectively transform a standard magazine well into one that has profound impact on the speed and accuracy of magazine reloads. Providing a large overhanging surface to funnel the magazine propellant into the hand while completely absent in other designs, the ZEV PRO Magwell offers a smother draw and reload. By creating a lower profile and redefining the shape of the magwell, ZEV Technologies can now offer a complete line of Pro or Complete magwells perfect for a number of applications. Does not require the gunsmithing of any kind; the ZEV Technologies PRO Magwell is a drop-in item that requires no gunsmithing or special tools required for installation. Simply open the magazine, insert the ZEV PRO Magwell and orient the pro toward the frame. If the pro is initially installed upside down, the spring pushes the magazine out far enough to overcome the internal magazine spring pressure, and re-zero the magazine to its mid or low positions as instructed by the magazine spring. By using the ZEV Pro Magwell in the traditional (up-right) position, the hand can be used to quickly establish a positive grip on the pistol and draw the magazine quickly. The over-sized (slim) design also allows the user to get into the shooting position more quickly, and the user can also use his off hand to quickly correct his firing position.
