I've owned many coast products, this one works as described. The battery life is much longer than most high-powered headlamps. The controls are easy to use and the adjustable being makes it great for many applications. Thanks again coast.

Put the battery pack in a vest pocket. I spent the last year trying to replace my old headlamp. This is better than my old one for blood-trailing at night with dogs. Pros: Lumens & Spot Beam Cons: Weight

The three position on switch is stiff, intermittent and should have been variable. The beam focus is very hard to turn one handed and needs to be smooth and easy. The head positioning is also very stiff and needs to hands to adjust. Waited 4 months...
