Great glasses in the end ended up going with the 56mm. Perfect fit. 52 would be good for ladies.

Great Glasses, the lens color is kind of different but over all great quality. I highly recommend getting polorized.

I first found out about these glasses from my buddy, who is a USAF F15 pilot. He let me try them out, and I was amazed with the clarity and absence of distortion in the lenses. I don't recommend it, but I have looked straight into the sun with these before and not felt phased. Also, if you do any recreational shooting, they are great for that purpose as well, because if you hate earplugs like I do, these will fit under your ear muffs, because of the bayonet temples. These are bar none, the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I bought a pair of original pilots in black five years ago, and if not for the fact that I lost them, I would probably still be wearing them. I will name off the only thing I don't like about them, and that is that they are heavy in comparison to modern sunglasses. You just don't find them made with glass anymore, but that's a good thing. This means they don't scratch. I have even dropped them on concrete, and not a spec of damage to be seen. The hinges will ...

I've always bought Ray Ban in the past but an Italian firm bought them and they are no longer made here so now I buy American Optics. I think these are made just as well if not better and they are a lot less expensive. They are made with real optics quality glass so they don't easily scratch and there is no distortion anywhere on the lens. They've got a high quality feel to them and I can tell that they will last a long time.

These glasses are old school quality. The frame is metal and can be had with wrap temples. The lenses are glass, which is much more scratch resistant than plastic lenses. The lenses can be had with or without polarizing. I got these without polarizing because its easier to read LCD displays (iPhone, nav system, etc) without polarizing. I've had Ray-Bans and Randolph Engineering glasses. Both of which are the same kind of metal/glass glasses and these are the nicest at the lowest price. I am VERY happy. Don

Great sunglasses! Love the grey glass lenses. Wear them everyday at work. The wire frames look good with work uniform. The bayonet temples are very comfortable and easy on/off. Thanks for a great pair of sunglasses!
