Excellent hunting scope

by Mikkel Lund, from Greenland, Sisimiut Written on August 27, 2014
A little shaky with unsteady hands but by far the best binoculars I have ever owned. Very easy to operate and very clear optics! Bought these for hunting and looking for wildlife along the way. Was considering cheaper adjustable zoom models but glad I decided against it. Highly recommend!...
Pros:
  • Waterproof
  • Quality lenses
  • Close focus
  • Works well with glasses
Cons:
  • Heavy
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Wildlife

Good value

by Nick, from United States, UT Written on August 26, 2014
I picked these binocs up because I wanted an extra pair for a family vacation to Yellowstone and Glacier. We used them often to check out wildlife. I also took them on several hikes. The resolution was super sharp . For me they seemed as clear as more expensive brands I looked at. I consider these binoculars a good value....

10x42 legend hd binoculars

by Bob, from United States, MO Written on August 6, 2014
These are great. Just came back from Yellowstone . No one wanted to use the binoculars they brought LOL ....they all wanted to use mine. Very clear hd glass, fit hands pretty well , work well with or without eyeglasses . The wife suggested we buy a pair for each of the kids because they were much better the other 4 pairs we had on the trip. I could see the wolves heads hiding in tall grass at about a mile. The only others who could see wolves had spotting scopes. Well worth the money. I ordered and received 4 working days later. All was good....
Pros:
  • Clear optics
  • Quality of much more expensive scopes
  • Case
Cons:
  • None.

Best in Class, Best Bang for your Buck

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on April 27, 2014
Looked at several, some even more expensive models from those mfg. These are by far the best bang for the buck in that price point. The ED\HD Glass is VERY clear and bright. I would strongly recommend this to someone that is looking. I compared these side by side with other models and these came out on top.
Pros: Great glass for the $$
Cons: None...

Excellent Value for the money

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, AZ Written on December 22, 2013
I bought these specifically for elk hunting in northern AZ. What a pair of binoculars! The glass on these are absolutely awesome. My friend loaned me his 15x56 Swarovskis and I have to say that besides the magnification, I could not tell the difference in the glass! My left eye cup became loose after two days in temps to 5 deg. I just left the eye cups rotated out and left the cup in the socket and it worked fine. The locking ability of the right eye focus is a nice feature. These worked great in low light of sunrise and sunset as well. The 10x power is an excellent choice for hand held binoculars if you are stalking from a distance. I will end up buying a tripod for these binoculars to aid in long distance glassing. I will send my pair back to Bushnell to repair the eye cup but that is really not a problem for me. I think you buy tremendous value with these binoculars for the price! Buy with confidence!
Pros: Excellent glass comparable to Swarovskis
Cons: Lense covers can easily be lost, eye cups fell off...

Bushnell 10x42 Legend Ultra HD Roof Prism Binocular w/ Rain Guard, ED Glass

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on May 28, 2013
We HAD a set o Bushnell Elite 10x50 binos
that were fairly good, but cannot be found
So I bought these for My wife for when we go on long nature walks.
Very light, Very bright, very clear, small, powerful, great lens cover system, comes with hard ase and 3 straps (1 is H harness)
My wife and younger daughter initially had a problem finding the ext pupil with both eyes, but they caught on pretty quick.
Super view through these binos, is was very pleased with the quality of the image you get.
We took them to Brazos Bend State Park and viewed a Baby gator on a log at 30-35' that looked like a Komodo dragon.
Now when we walk my wife picks out things for me to take pictures of, and I have gotten some great shots now that would have been missed just last month.
Buy with Confidence
Pros: Small light powerful very clear relatively low cost
Cons: new bino users have a little trouble getting them set...
