Great sights for a great gun
Meporlight makes great night sights. Adding these to a Bersa Thunder Plus made a great pistol even better. They are a press fit as they should be. DO NOT DRIVE THEM IN WITH A PUNCH! If you do not have a sight pusher go to a gunsmith to install. The sights contain GLASS vials of RADIO ACTIVE tritium....

These may not work
No doubt, Meprolight sights are the best. That said, I found out the hard way that Bersa has used different sight designs for the Thunder .380 and Meprolight only makes one of them. There are fixed dovetail rear sights and set screw style slide sights. If you have the dovetail these won't work. ...

works on current model 380 plus
Was a little worried about fitment on current 2021 Bersa Thunder Plus given the inconsistent reviews on this sight set having the front dovetail or not but the model shipped in December of 2021 did. Front sight went on easily but the rear sight required a few passes with a precision metal file on the slide "shelf" overhang to go on. Big upgrade IMHO over the stock plastic sights but be aware that these are combat sights with large dots and not precision target sights. Perfect for anything inside of 20 yards, which is about the max practical range for a thunder .380 anyhow. As always with Meprolights they glow really strong in the dark.
Pros:
- very bright
Cons:
- not a precision sight, requires minor fitment
Best Used for:
- combat, SD sight system

Versa thunder .380 dove tail
Ordered off of optics plant, description says for model with dovetail. But picture shows the front sight with the tenon post. These are dovetail, which I needed. Only needed to do a little filing to get it to fit in the notch. The Lyman sight pusher was great at getting it in place. Sight picture was greatly improved and much easier to pick up then the lower factory sights. And the shot placement was point of aim, not low or way high like I have ran into before. Was very happy with them.

Really bright
Great product! Much brighter than I would have expected. Sights are slightly larger than original. Target acquisition is greatly improved in the daylight. The front sight is the dovetail. Did have to have them professionally installed.
Pros:
- performance
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- EDC

Meprolight Night Sights
I took my Bersa 380 Thunder to a gunsmith for the Meprolight night sight installation. The sights had to be extensively altered, filed, for installation. The installation process was difficult to say the least. I have at this time, not retaken possession of the gun so I'm unable to comment on shooting the gun at the range. The gunsmith is a close personal friend so I have no reason to disbelieve his installation comments.
Pros:
- Sight picture visibility
Cons:
- Installation difficulty
Best Used for:
- People with close vision difficulties

Bersa nights
The TRUDOT sights appear to be well made however, These will only work with a DOVETAIL front sight slide! The photo on the description page is wrong. To be fair it does state in the details page that they are dovetail. Read before you buy!
Pros:
- Well made product.
Cons:
- Photo misleading

Great product
When the sight arrived, it was well and securely packaged. Once installed the sight was well illuminated at night. I won’t hesitate to use these sights on my other pistols. As an older person with compromised vision, these sights were easy to see. I feel more secure with this product when I go out at night.

They don't fit
Even though advertised as proper for the weapon, rear requires substantial gunsmithing. Once in cant be pushed without removal and more reductions to the base. The optics are fine, they just don't fit.

Night Sights
Meprolight make a great night sight. Very crisp. The three dot sights present sufficient illumination in low light situations, allowing you to focus on the sight picture than trying to find the sights. Delivery was quick. I had a gunsmith install them for around $50.
Pros:
- Quality
Cons:
- Gunsmith installation
Best Used for:
- low light/night

Quality low light sights
Works well on my Bersa Thunder 380-easily visible in low light. These take sight pusher tools to install for you DIY'rs.
Pleased with my results, but do your home work and check to see if they fit your pistol by your serial number.

Purchased for Thunder 9 Compact; good, but there are some things to keep in mind
These are solid sights at a good price, but the rear was incredibly loose and I had to Loctite it into place. It has not shifted any from holster wear or shooting since that. The dots are bright and easy to pick up, but when shooting, even at 25 yards, the sights when mounted on the Compact were aiming a bit high. Be sure to take this into account, but nonetheless buy with confidence.
