Great flashlight for police work, i like the fact you can use leds or the halogen. Leds are good for doing paperwork or vehicle searches while the halogen has the punch you need to see through tint on traffic stops. Its lightweight and easy to carry on your duty belt. Also i like it because you can leave it in your car and it won't get hot to the touch like a maglite would.

The 3 LEDs are very useful because you don't always need 30,000 candlepower....such as when you are looking for something in your equipment bag, or searching a vehicle. The battery is not the full size battery that's inside the standard SL20x....its the smaller battery used in the ultra stinger. I would probably prefer the extra amps of the larger battery. Other than that it is great, durable, weather resistant, light, gripable. Optics Planet has the absolute lowest prices and great fast service!
