I wasn’t so sure when I purchased the crosshair reticle. I’m use to the chevron but the crosshair reticle is perfect for my scar 17. The tritium is bright and the fiber lights up the center just right. I would buy one again in a heart beat.
Purchased the 308 version to shoot larger grain 556 rounds. Glass is extremely clear and great for my needs. I went with the green crosshair. AS others have noted, in direct sun I need to tape off most of the fiberoptic. Love the scope. Mount is okay...

I put it on a springfield armory m1a and it performs very well! I killed a deer with it at 140 yards no problem and could easily kill one twice as far. The reticle is too bright in direct sunlight but you can cover it and make it dimmer.
