This is a very nice jacket. I ordered the medium in moss, had to send it back and get the large size, (I'm ~5'9" 165lbs) the medium was just slightly too small. The jacket is pretty warm, but I think another layer would be needed if freezing weather....

It’s a great jacket, my only complaint is that’s its a little shor for my liking because It’s designed to clear a duty belt. It’s great for heavy rain or to use as a hard shell for for winter conditions.

I use this jacket everyday and also at the shooting range. It's waterproof and breathable. It has a possibility to work with the weapon mounted on the operator belt and it can still cover all the things. Side zippers give easy access to the weapon.

The new updated mesh and nylon liner on this Soft Shell Jacket manufactured by 5.11 Tactical is more breathable than ever, while still maintaining its fast undercover and conceal carry look. The 511 Sabre Tactical Jacket 2.0 has been designed with increased shoulders, so you can include multiple or large patches. With this 5.11 Tactical Waterproof Jacket, the two front pull out ID panels and one large back ID panel grants you the ability to go from a covert operation to an overt operation in a matter of seconds. The 511 Soft Shell Sabre Coat is made with an incredibly comfortable Microfiber shell that is fully Seamsealed to be waterproof. The removable hood on the 5.11 Tactical Sabre Soft Shell Coat 2.0 can be stored in a special pocket located near the lumbar area of the jacket.image
