It’s a great jacket, my only complaint is that’s its a little shor for my liking because It’s designed to clear a duty belt. It’s great for heavy rain or to use as a hard shell for for winter conditions.

I use this jacket everyday and also at the shooting range. It's waterproof and breathable. It has a possibility to work with the weapon mounted on the operator belt and it can still cover all the things. Side zippers give easy access to the weapon.

This 5.11 tactical sabre 2.0 lightweight jacket is perfect to carry for weather and uniform wise, has easy way to carry all the patches you to represent your business or your company who you work for

It's pricey for what it is, but it's the nicest I've owned thus far. I had to actually go on Youtube and watch reviews to learn all the hidden compartments, features and such.

You pay a lot for this, but you get what you pay for. It's a great tactical jacket. I live in the southern United States and I'm just looking for cooler to cold weather to really try it out. Remember, it's a soft shell and is supposed to be used with layering. It's not an all in one garment, as some people don't seem to understand what a soft shell is.

Anyway, I highly recommend it to those who want a quality soft shell and don't mind paying a bit more. I love mine.

I got this Jacket in the beginning of January hoping for some bad weather (as said in the past, be careful what you wish for). The jacket is just OUTSTANDING!!! Works well alone but great with a thermal or 5.11 covert hoodie. The weather here has been below zero with the windchill a few times and I've found myself sweating. I've had to open the vents to allow air flow through. I've read some reviews were people wanted better lining but must say that would make it only a cold weather jacket. On the warmer day (not many so far) just with a long sleeve t-shirt has been fine. I stood out in the snow for almost two hours not a problem, as well as in the rain for over an hour and a half and nothing came through.The easy ability (with practice to get to your weapon is great. The size options also were just perfect for me. I can't say enough good thing about the jacket. I purchased two similar ones from two different companies and the sizes were not true and the difference in the quality of the breathability and warmth with the t-shirt alone was a big difference, while the price was almost the same. Thanks OpticsPlanet for selling it and 5.11 for making it.
