Every calibur of A-Zoom Snap Caps I have are accurate to case measurements and have firing pin protection. I use them from dry firing, and miss feed recovery drills to testing magazines. They are an essential to me.

Tried the snap caps out the cycle good and you don't have to worry about dry firing your rifle with these. You can load them in a magazine and dry fire but you have to charge it every time because of course there's no explosion to cycle the rifle.

Does what it is supposed to do. Wish it was a 5 pack rather than 2 pack for the price. Good for checking rifle function after building or dry fire practice. Also good for randomly mixing into mags for various drills.

Product Info for A-Zoom Rifle Aluminum Snap Caps
A-Zoom Rifle Snap Caps are crafted from durable, solid, hard-anodized aluminum that is CNC-machined to exact cartridge dimensions for consistency every time you chamber the A Zoom round and squeeze the trigger. The engineering allows you to load them into magazines to check functionality, practice dry-fire techniques, and train new shooters. When you're on the range live firing, place one A-Zoom .223 snap cap randomly into a loaded magazine to practice malfunction and clearing drills. The distinctive red color gives you an instant visual of the snap cap during chamber checks, too.
Dry firing without Snap Caps can damage your firing pin if you're doing it repeatedly, as you would for practice drills. Many owners prefer to store their rifles with a snap cap in the chamber and the firing pin resting on it to preserve the firing pin spring. For this same reason, they're also ideal for transporting your firearm.
You can find them in a wide variety of calibers, including popular AR 15 snap caps like 223 snap caps, 243 snap caps , and .300 Blackout snap caps, just to name a few.
