It's simple. You mount one clamp to the barrel of your weapon (12ga shotgun in my case) the other clamp is where your flashlight goes. Tada. That's it. I recommend using lockite on the screw, you don't want it falling off as you are squeezing off...

Excellent clamp for a flashlight. Not made to clamp onto an extended magazine. Overall, easy setup and may work for some shotguns. Just a little too small for my Mossberg 12g. Pros: easy setup Cons: Plastic, not made to fit on barrel
