Building a lightweight and accurate rifle can be a challenge, but the Aero Precision M5 Complete Upper w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard makes it easier than ever to create a reliable weapon platform that can deliver premium performance in the field, at the range, or anywhere else you need it. To assist in your lightweight build, these AR15 Upper Receivers come outfitted with an ATLAS S-ONE handguard that boasts a front and rear Picatinny rail. This handguard is also compatible with QD sling sockets and low-profile gas blocks and provides a slim profile so that you can perfectly balance the weight of your accessories and clothing with the use of a quick-detach sling mount.
The M5 receiver itself is constructed out of 7075 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum while the barrel is made out of 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium with a corrosion-resistant finish to outlast the elements. To create a durable and reliable weapon platform, these Aero Precision M5 Complete Upper Receivers are HP and MPI tested. On top of that, they have DPMS High Profile (DPMS .750) barrel with a 1 in 10 twist rate. On the other hand, this 15in ATLAS S-ONE handguard has an inside diameter of 1.5in and an outside diameter of 1.7in compatible with low profile gas blocks. The double lugged 10in length upper works with any aftermarket 10in or shorter rail and it comes with a 15in ATLAS S-ONE handguard.
