Product Info for AIC Alliance LB31-70XJ L Line Single Wall Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger 350 000 Btu/Hr 1in MPT

Brazed plate heat exchangers consist of stainless steel plate packs, which have embossed chevron patterns. The plates are turned 180 to each other, causing the plate ridges to intersect, and creating a lattice of intersecting channels. The fluids can flow in counter-current or co-current way. Special corrugation patterns promotes high turbulence flow. Turbulence dramatically improves heat transfer rates and reduces the amount of deposits inside the unit. The brazing material of the L-Line plate-to-plate heat exchangers is constructed with copper, single wall plates. L-Line single wall brazed plate heat exchangers feature a working pressure up to 481 PSI and a working temperature up to 445F. Typical applications include: central heating, hydronic heating, solar and geothermic heating, industrial process heat recovery, condensers and evaporators in refrigeration systems, oil coolers, and close approach fluid-to-fluid heat transfer. Caution: Not for use with steam or swimming pools.image
