Tent footprints are a crucial step in keeping your tent in good repair and the ALPS Mountaineering Mystique 1 Floor Saver acts as a damage preventative and prolongs the life of your tent. They also help to extend the life of your tent by protecting it from punctures and wear-and-tear from rough surfaces. It also helps to reduce the noise a new tent generates when it is set up. The floor of the tent needs to be cleaned either after each use or you will have to start all over again.
