Yes, these mounts can be used on an AR-15 upper receiver with a flat top.

What’s the difference between this and the AD Recon 20MOA mount? Is the Delta model specifically for the FN SCAR? Will it work on a DPMS pattern .308? Expert Answer

It depends on the exact part numbers you are comparing, but the basic differences are that the Recon uses skeletonized vertical split rings while the Delta uses solid horizontally split rings. The Delta is also slightly taller by a millimeter or two than the Recon. Either mount can be used on any rifle as long as its tall enough for the optic and as long as the rifle has a picatinny rail to mount too.

Well built, sturdy. I really like the tactical quick disconnect levers. It is a large mount. It takes up the entire rail on my Howa short action. I haven't tested its return to zero yet, but i like everything else so far.

The AD-DELTA mount is made for putting high power glass onto a SCAR or flattop style AR10 rifle. The AD-DELTA is a straight up scope mount with no eye relief built in. Optic center line height is 1.5" for 30mm rings. It is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodize. Horizontal rings. Adapted to the FN SCAR program; approved by SOCOM. NSN 1005-13-121-5535 It features the Patented QD Auto Lock(tm) Lever system to accommodate both in-spec and out-of-spec rail systems.image
