Unfortunately for the price it was received with one screw that had bad threads. I looked under a magnifying glass to see if i could ID the bad thread, but it looks like the thread simply didngo all the way to the start of the screw. I didn't want to force it into my action (that would have been stupid and risky). So i had to contact Horne and waiting on a replacement screw. Annoying that a screw makes this $65 part unusable. Otherwise, it seems fine.

Well built, sturdy. I really like the tactical quick disconnect levers. It is a large mount. It takes up the entire rail on my Howa short action. I haven't tested its return to zero yet, but i like everything else so far.

MDT Howa 1500 Oryx Rifle Chassis
The Oryx had fitment issue with my Ruger American Gen-2. The safety lever would stick or not articulate when the chasis was torqued down. I had to modify the chasis by filing down where the safety lever rotates within the well. Other than that the chasis is wonderful.

Met all my expectations based on the online reviews I read. The remote switch could use better mounting options. Reading online there are some who modify the remote switch to receive screws for mounting on M-Lok systems.
