QD mount is easy to use, and keeps zero well. The tactical levers are large enough to operate with gloves, but not so large as to get in the way. It returns very close to zero when removed and reattached at the same T marker.

Product Info for American Defense Manufacturing AD-RECON-SL M14 Riflescope Mount

Similar to the AD-RECON-S, the AD-RECON-SL mount is made for putting high power glass onto a bolt action rifle, M1A, M-14 or 10/22's. This mount is best suited for Bolt Action Rifles that feature an optics rail only above the action and does not have a handguard that extends over the barrel. This is the lowest mount that we offer. The AD-RECON-SL is a straight up scope mount with no eye relief built in. It is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodize. It features the Patented QD Auto Lock(tm) Lever system to accommodate both in spec and out of spec rail systems.image
