Product Info for American Defense Manufacturing SPRE, Left Hand
The AD-SPRE is a single point precision sling mount that serves to split the load of an angled shotgun so that the shooter can comfortably position the rifle wherever their shoulder allows comfortably. It mounts the sling securely in the "de-cocked" position by separating the sling swivel so that the loop face is perpendicular to the barrel axis. The extra height of the sling loop allows the shooter to easily re-cock the weapon from behind without having to un-cock the sling. The AD-SPRE mount is particularly useful when converting a shotgun from a left-to-right sling to right-shoulder carry. It allows the shooter to easily move the rifle from point A to B without having to do so while wearing body armor. Since the sling loop is split at the "knuckle" and not at the "shoulder" first, there is always an opportunity to easily manipulate the point of the sling while in transport. It can also be used for re-cocking the gun after holstering. It can also be used for re-cocking the gun after holstering so that the correct sling can be easily installed. This greatly simplifies the weapon mounting process. It also avoids any sling loop sling when the weapon is only being worn by one shooter while the other is carrying in a conventional sling.
