Are the outside threads 1/2X28? Expert Answer

The manufacturer does not state what the outside threads are on the Breek Arms 3FO-S AR15 .223/.556, 9mm, .30 Flash Hider. I recommend contacting the manufacturer for that information.

Is there a recommended thread protector available for this? Manufacturer Answer

We do not have a thread protector for this part, we would recommend using the Blast Shield to protect the threads. Or you can find a dedicated thread protector elsewhere, the thread pitch is 13/16" x 16 tpi.

Simply slide the blast shield over the outside of the muzzle device and turn the blast shield on. This gives the shooter a more pleasant experience when firing especially for shorter platforms that tend to have an overbearing concussion.image
