Yes it is! I ordered the part anyway out of frustration with other suppliers. It just came in. It fits my AR10 DPMS lower in .308 perfectly, better than the magazine catch that was furnished with the "AR10 Lower Kit," that I purchased. When installed, the stud is flush with the outside of the retaining nut, as it is on an AR15. (The retaining nut, or button, is the extended version, used when the stud is too short.)
This release is a bit longer than the AR15 version. It's nice for DPMS pattern lowers like the Aero Precision M5. It is NOT for the AR15.. It is much too long. I'm buying more for my other 308 big bore lowers. I paired with the Aero button and spring...

Some of these .308 builds can be a pain. Sometimes you need a little bit more length on the mag catch. It’s only a hair longer, but with an extended button release it’s perfect!
