yes. the MI-BC556 will work fine with 1/2x28 9mm guns. we made the MI-BC9 for the colt smg pattern barrels and some others that still use the 1/2x36 thread pitch.

Using the Provided crush washer, tighten until the MI label is straight up. there is no need to really "time" it as the blast can has no real orientation other than how it looks logo wise.

Ordered this for my 8.1” pistol build and it is fantastic for directing that brain jarring concussion from the short barrel. Finish is great, figment was perfect and it looks mean. The shooters next to you will thank you as well!
Decent price and does the job well. It’s heavy if that’s a concern as it may negatively impact the balance of an AR-15 pistol. Installation was easy, just take your time and use the proper tools. Gorilla tape helped me not to scratch the blast can.
Have 2 of these. One on my 5.56 and one on a 9mm build. Works great and looks great. I have shorter barrels and longer handguards on my guns. This can sticks out the end of my handguards and gives my guns a really good look.
