It is very light but.....
The latch plate is very light weight for my AR10, but the quick disconnect mount is too large for the quick disconnect and my sling falls out with the slightest of tugs, rendering the latch plate, only slightly better than useless...
Plate doesn't work for every receiver
This plate won't work for my anderson lower because the hole is not deep enough so the qd doesn't sit all the way in there. Tried to flip it over but it won't align with my lower and ruined 2 take down springs. It has cut outs on once side so your take down springs will sit in the cutout. Don't waste your money on this plate. Qd sling won't work. I'd recommend the utg plate instead. It's not aluminum but it's a solid plate that works.

Lightweight Alluminum with a Phosphate looking finish.
Awesome finish. It appears and feels like a phosphate finish. Lightweight. It’s the lightest I’ve experienced. I like the recess cuts. Feels strong and not flimsy. I wish the beveled edges were more beveled. I upgrade from MilSpec to collectively save weight and smooth sharp/ rough edges on the rifle. The mixture of phosphate/ grey-like and the deep black finishes give the rifle a unique look.

very nice end plate
The 2A armamanet aluminum latch plate is super light weight and well made. Over all quality and finish is excellent. The milled out pockets look even better in person. Installed with ease and fits perfectly. Quick Disconnect is also great feature with my magpul sling.

Great for a lightweight ar build. Put mine on a lightweight grendel and it is performing as advertised. I like the looks of it but more importantly the qd sling mount has made shooting and treking through the woods a little more enjoyable.

The Absolute Lightest AR End Plate Available
If you're building a lightweight AR, than look no further. The 2A Armament end plate is the absolute lightest on the market.
The integrated QD socket is a nice feature, and the anodizing is a deep black. Durability is excellent, and is backed by a manufacturer lifetime warranty.
