Belt review

I've bought 5.11 stuff before and had fairly good luck with them. And had expected the same from this "gun belt". When it came in I could not believe it. This is by far the sorriest excuse for a "gun belt" I've ever seen. I have dress belts that are heavier than this one is. I was totally disappointed in the product. It will be delegated to being used as strictly a casual belt. The quality is fine, just in no way, shape, or form is it heavy enough to use for a gun belt.
And because of that I can not recommend this to anyone. The only reason I gave it one star was because I had to give it something in order to submit this

Daily Belt

I have been looking for a good belt for concealed carry and everyday use. This belt is the ticket. I wear it daily, I wear it with my more formal attire, and I wear it when I carry. I'm very satisfied with how it carries the load on my xdsc. The belt buckle is different but if you fish the tail under and keep some tension on it, it becomes very easy to get the prongs into the holes. I have been wearing it for about a month and have no complaints.

Great Belt

The belt is great and looks dressy. The only problems I have with 5.11 belts is that I seem to fit between sizes, and since this is a tactical brand, it may be better if the brand wasn't printed on the buckle. Overall, I'm pleased with look and quality of the belt.

Who would spend more than $20.00 for a belt? The leather on the 5.11 Tactical Apex Gunner's Belt is thick and yet very supple and comfortable. The tongue of the belt hides behind the buckle making for a very neat and clean look while wearing. I am a 33-34" waist and purchased the large; however, a medium would have been a better choice because I would not of had so much extra leather behind the buckle.

The leather is curved to the natural curve of your waist making for an extremely comfortable fit. For those who might carry a concealed weapon, if so licensed, this is the perfect belt to use for carry because the belt though soft and supple does not stretch and holds the holster firmly in place.

Nice belt with a casual look

This is a very nice belt if you don't want the agressive tactical looks of an operator, trainer type of belt. It fits well and has a clean look.
Pros: Less tactical looking and well made.
