From the moment you pull this out of the box you can feel the quality. I tried a knock off Molle pack from Amazon and it lasted about a year. Just using it as my daily commute bag. I expect this to last many years. Just wish it had more velcro incorporated for more patches.

After looking for a while to find the perfect bag for hunting, range use and short trips, the Rush 24 Vtac has fulfilled my needs. Easy access and plenty of pockets perfectly set up to house all my essentials.

This bag is chunky and tough. It is my travel suutcase. Combined with compression cubes, you can pack for months in THIS one carry on. It is always organised and there is room left for small trinkets. The thing is also rough enough for camping. I do wish it had hip straps because there is so much room that I have managed to overpack a few times. (P.S. Middke aged female minimalist traveler who ranger rolls clothes then compresses them even more.) I have had this bag for two years and no rips or tears. Never had a zip fail, if it gets realky dirty i unpack it and hose it off. Not only do I take 7 sets of clothing, but a memory foam neck pillow, a woobie, and a crockery tea cup with me. I also have the moab to detach and use as a purse/ivernight bag and I love that I can click them together once past security and live hands free. I looked at so many ruck sacks and worried aboit how heavy this one was. It is heavy, but it is also comfortable. I love the ability to strap things to it and that I could toss it about without a care about wear. I would buy this again without a second thpught.
Pros:
- Many, so easy care. Nobody wants to steal it at because it is not fussy enough to attract much notice.
Cons:
- No hip belt. It is heavy.

Great Bag and High Quality. Makes every other backpack look cheap. Picked this bag up as my EDC / Work Bag. Also got the Rush 12 for my range bag because I don’t like carrying bags, more of a backpack guy. Going to try out the tier system and will report back. Thanks OP and 5.11
Pros:
- High Quality and Highly Durable

I say 5.11 tactical backpacks are the best for international travel and daily use. The thick and water resistant material makes it an idea use for basically any trip. Different sizes and color that fits the users desire. Even better when you buy them at discounted prices at Opticsplanet.com!
Cons:
- A little heavy for ordinary people.

I have and have had many different types of back packs. The 5.11 Rush 24 is my favorite. Well built, nice looking, and tough for every day needs. I cannot think of a better pack and when on sale, it was a no- brainer for me to purchase my third. Thank you OP.

Excellent bag, great for EDC! Plenty of room for all of your stuff. It’s comfortable to wear and not to big.
Shipping was fast from optics planet.
I would highly recommend this for edc, hiking, travel, etc.

5.11 has become a “go-to” brand when I am in need of new gear. As an owner of the Rush 12 pack, I expected the same quality in the 24 as well. Quality is exactly what I received. The 12 was great for day-to-day, but I needed something slightly larger to accommodate a larger load. The 24 was my answer. Just as comfortable and evenly distributed weight for all day excursions. Buy with confidence! Optics Planet also has some of the best service I have received, as well as fast shipping! They are my first stop shop.
Pros:
- Quality
- Comfortable
- tough

Awesome pack for edc, camping or any other use. I use my RUSH 24 for work and some outdoor adventure. It has plenty of room for extra clothing if needed. I'm a big guy and it is pretty comfortable when I have it loaded with work items for long inspections that I have to do.

I did a lot of research before deciding on which pack to buy. Reading reviews, watching videos, actually seeing the packs in person. Cost wasn't as much as a factor, so that allows you to get a better product more times than not. You usually do get what you pay for. Good or bad. The 5.11 RUSH 24 pack is well built, comfortable, and can carry plenty. Being able to add all kinds of pouches with the molle system makes it even better. Packs sure have come a long way since I was a kid.
