It is quite narrow, but is easily modified to fit your stocks profile.

I purchased a Boyds thumbhole stock earlier this year and was having problems because of a poor cheek weld. I didn't want to drill through the stock and go with the kydex risers available. It did take some time sanding to make this fit my stock. I took one of the sides all the way down to where it sits flush on the top of the stock and then sanded the other side so it pulled into the stock and formed to the contours. I used different screws than what came with it. I painted it and clear coated it as well. Now I'm getting a great cheek weld and my accuracy is doing a lot better. The only thing I wish was that it came with pieces that go into the mounting holes other than that this was a great riser that works perfect for what I wanted.
Cons:
- No pieces to fill the mounting holes

Everything you need for a low price. It dosnt say in the discription but this unit is made for the fn fal rifle. It still works on most stocks though espesially military ones because most of them have a wider radius comb for strength. Sporter combs have to much peak and the riser dosnt seat but instead rocks back and forth like a hinge. If you are going to put it on an fal you will need to swap the screws for shorter ones as they obstruct the recoil springs. This is not a negative because this isnt an expensive product. I would recommend a new stock if you have money to spend or if defacing your rifle is a problem.

This product is easily sanded to fit your stock contour and make it the height you need. It can be screwed to the stock or attached with Velcro. You can also put it under one of those elastic stock shellholders to hold it in place. It's easy to fit to basically any rifle

I installed this on my 308, the scope was too tall to get good cheekweld. This product fit my stock with no modification and installed easily by drilling two small holes with ordinary tools. I am completely happy with the value and consistency I am able to obtain with this product. This is not adjustable and may need to be removed to breech clean some rifles. The price is great! Great Product!!!

I mounted this cheek rest on the synthetic stock of my .270 deer rifle, then wrapped a 9-round cartridge holder over it. It help the rifle look so good that I was practically forced to sell it to my buddy for almost $200 more than I had in it.
Best Used for:
- I've used it also on a CCA Israeli AR cheekrest, mounting it on the thin cheek riser and Dremeling off the excess CCA riser. Made it twice as comfortable.

My scope height is 2 1/2" high, an not good for tight groups. Took too long to acquire a good sight picture. (chin weld). Optics Planet had what I needed! A Advanced Technology Universal Cheek Rest UCR-1900. Now I have what everybody calls a Good Cheek Weld... Simple to install 5 min. at the most.
Went to the range an with a little fine tuning, my bullets were grouping like BB's to a small magnet.
very happy. Thanks!
Pros:
- best price for the quality

The cheek riser is a simple, inexpensive solution to the need to raise the comb on a rifle/carbine stock. It's a no-frills, no-moving-parts answer. Completely pleased.
Pros: Cheap. Very Serviceable. Simple does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Cons: You need to tape it on and work out exact location
