This was my first ar9 build. I wanted lrbho and the aero epc was one of the few in the this price range that had it in the upper. At first glance it seems kinda cheesy setup. After firing 150 rounds out of 17rd magpul glock mags it has performed flawlessly. I did have to grind a bit on the odin works mag release to work with my upper but that was not anything to do with the upper. As most peple have foubd wgen doing custom builds with various manufactured parts.. be aware some thing may have to be modded. I used a bkings bolt kak 9.5oz k spec buffer and there flat wound spring i also used an a5 buffer tube to give me an extra 3/4 of an inch to acomadate a taccom buffer bumper. This combo is awesome its not snappy in any way as some say about short barreled 9mm. Shoots smooth locjs back consistant and shoots all the ammo ive put throuth it including hollow points and cridical defence ammo. I love the handgaurd nice knurling, its bigger in diamiter which feels nice to grip and it go mlok and 3 qd points for a sling. Its a great upper for the money i dont think one can go wrong.

Works and looks great. Been having issues with the last round bolt hold open so I just took that piece out because I could care less about that and haven't had a malfunction yet at 600 rounds.
