EZ takedown pins are easy

Having the tools to do takedown pins I saw these advertised and figured why not. Before installing them I watched a couple how to videos on Youtube and then I went to it. Had the front takedown pin installed in no time flat. A lot simpler than the traditional ones. Will but these again for a future build.

Aero Precision EZ Install Pins

I bought the Aero Precision EZ Install Pins for a new Aero build. I tried following the instructions to install the pivot pin but the spring and detent still went flying which I'll chalk up to user error. I busted out the Real Avid AR15 Pivot Pin install tool and got it on the first try. That is a good tool to have. Regardless, the pins look nice and work great and would definitely buy again.

Built well but loose

Installation was very easy but they're not very tight. They introduced too much slop between the upper and lower for my liking.
