This hand guard instantly made the gun look better. With the longer rail I have more options than before. I was no fan of the plastic hand guard. The over all fit to the gun was really good. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the two screws that screw into the barrel section did not have a spacer between the hand guard and barrel (anchor). Hand guard should have been made to cover the 1/4” (or 3/8”) gap on both screws or come with spacers. Also it may have been straight forward putting on this hand guard, but I’m a strong proponent of having installation instructions which this item did not have. I looked for the instructions on the net, but didn’t come up with anything. For the most part it was a pretty good purchase and I’ll see how much abuse it can take.
