Best hammer spring for ak platform
Russian springs are usually the best. But these ALG hammer spring’s make for a much better tension feel when the hammer is striking the fireing pin. I would highly recommend getting this spring, one because it’s American made. And two it out does all its competitors.

not strong enough to reset trigger
Installed it into my AK 104, wasn’t able to reset trigger. The spring was stretched making it week. Hopefully it was just a bad experience for me but this is what happened.
a welcome improvement for any AK
Gotta love ALG/Geissele springs. This is a really nice one and goes very well with the AKT trigger. A+, would reccommend.

High Energy Main Spring- Zastava M70
The ALG combo(HE main spring,recoil spring and ALG AKT-EL trigger combined is very effective in my Zastava ZPAP M70. Warning-Polish your trigger before installing.

fantastic update
This adds a bit of recoil reduction, and hits alot harder, i would recommend getting the retainer plate, that wirr is hard not impossible but difficult to get back in.

Braided Spring Does Not Fit
The loop on the braided spring is too long and does not fit any hammers including ALG's own hammer. This is why some reviews say the hammer doesn't reset. Save yourself the headache and purchase any other brand from another retailer. ALG/Geissele is aware of the issue and is not doing anything about it but suggesting that yiu grind your trigger down to allow the hammer to reset. Why would I do that when plenty of others sell the proper sized hammer spring. Do not buy. You have been warned.

Trigger reset issues
Works perfectly in my WASR-10 but is giving me trigger reset issues with my PSA krink. Overall it is a sturdy product.

mixed feelings
Definitely works but I feel like the original Russian spring was more smooth. Maybe this needs to smooth out?
Kind of a b@tch to install as there is a lot of tension on the spring. I’d say if you have some soft primer strikes this may be for you but that’s really it.

No more light strikes
ALG anything is a good choice for an upgrade. I was having some light strikes on the primers and this was a simple install. Fixed the issue, price was right and does not interfere at all with the rifle. I have bought from ALG before for AR parts and they are well made and reliable.

Brittle but work
These are good for the price, but are brittle. Recommend buying a couple. because odds are they will break durning install or first use. Other wise a great product. To have on hand in the gunshop.................. ml

Great Spring
I researched several different products for builds and after reading several forms and working on varied fire control groups still had issues with light primer strikes i tried this spring out. It worked great in my AK build. 5 Stars on the quality. It resolved my issues with light hammer strikes. Highly recommend for any AK build.
