Overall I like this sling. I bought it for my Ruger 10/22. I had a different Ruger brand sling on it, but rubber/plastic parts on the older sling became tacky due to prolonged exposure to extreme heat during long-term storage. So I bought this one hoping it will last longer - will try to avoid long-term storage in hot environments, just to make sure I don't make the same mistake. So far I am happy with this new Ruger brand sling. It is slightly lighter than the old sling (yes, I weighed them). It's also slightly stretchy or elastic, which is a quality I look for in a light rifle sling. I also like that it comes with swivels - that's something many consumers may come to expect, but it's not universal, and I still appreciate it very much in a sling purchase. I also like that the sling material is looped and sewn around the swivel so that it stays in place. Others may not like this, but I do. The design looks overly complicated - you can zoom in on the photos to see what I'm trying to describe. Again, not necessarily a bad thing - and not so bad to prevent me from using it - but I do usually prefer simpler/sleeker designs. I still bought it, though! Finally, the red "Ruger" logo is emblazoned in red letters on the sling. I would prefer a logo that's a little more subtle, but it's not so bad. In summary, this is good sling for a light Ruger...
