This case/mat has greatly reduced the effort to get everything from the car to the range. I am using it for a RPR (308 20" barrel) with a huge scope and there is plenty of room and protection even with a bipod. The pluses are great design...high quality...adequate padding...great appearance with molle sewn in in a manner to actually make it a useful utility (there are cases with the molle sewn in vertically ha ha). The only cons are the zippers which are very heavy duty but are a tad difficult to zip through the corners of the protective flap that borders the entire case...not a big deal. I also am disappointed in the quality of the four buckles...I broke one trying to cinch the case together and luckily was able to rob one from the backpack center strap since I don't use it in that manner anyway. They should either make those buckles more robust like backpack and even dog collar quality or warn users to not use them as cinch points...merely as reinforcements for the zipper or a closure when the zipper is not engaged...I still like their utility. I really like this case/mat and it exceeds my expectations of how and why I decided to buy it. The embroidered Ruger logo and the case/mat's general appearance are absolutely attention grabbing...I love the looks of it!
