I first bought one of the green colored extreme 2s and used it for three years off-road motorcycle desert camping in Southern California. There are several things I love about it. It's given that it's light weight, well crafted, compact when stored, comfortable when up, but that's not what really makes this tent shine. The three pole design makes the tent extremely stable and solid, and combined with the large vestibule it has a low profile that makes it really impervious to high wind. It's a great roomy super solid tent. That vestibule also gives you a lot of out of sight outside the tent interior storage for gear. It's very simple to set up and I can easily do so in just minutes in the dark. Recently I was camping solo at a offoad area in So.Cal, and I had several people comment about my tent. Later at the nearest gas station the packed tent mysteriously disappeared off my bike. It's so nice it's not only a pleasure to own but others will actually lust after it. Once I got home I immediately bought this new one, and I didn't have to think twice about it. Best two man tent ever!!! I'm so glad they still make them. I could not imagine motorcycle camping without this tent.
