Really enjoy this product. It made a big difference with my ACOg and the eye relief. I have a 4 x 32 ACOG. And I am able to run magpul flip up sights under it. The QD mount feels really nice but this is my first quick detach mount so I have nothing to compare to. I also weighted the factory mount, this mount is about 2oz to 2 and half oz lighter.
Pros:
- QD mount
- Lighter
- better eye relief than stock sights

I've always loved my ACOG, but I didn't like using it due to the extremely short eye relief, and sitting a little low. This mount raises the ACOG, and sets it back some, leading to the ACOG being in a much more natural, comfortable position.

Ive only put 3-400 rounds on my rifle with this holding up my primary arms 5x compact prism, but was incredibly easy to install and seems to be holding up pretty well.

this is my 3rd american defense mount. The other two are for a trijicon credo and an eotech. Adjusting these mounts for your pic rail is super easy and super fast. Once tightened down, which doesn't even require tools, these things are rock solid. Adjustments are done by squeezing the spring loaded mount parts together and using your finger, simply rotate the nut until you feel it snug, then test lock the QD lever. don't make it too tight as you may damage your pic rail. Engagement of the QD should be stiff but should not require a ton of effort. Both of my other mounts have had over 1000 rounds and the QD is still locked tight. No chance of losing zero if you are clamped down tight. Return to zero is super reliable especially on my Credo. The quality and craftsmanship on these QD mounts is VERY HIGH. My only complaint is that they built this only to clear the Magpul pro series of backup iron sights. I knew this but wanted a more rearward mount for my ACOG. Moving my troy sights to in front of the mount was no problem and works just as good. If ADM could change one thing I would say build them a little higher as a lot of people do not use the Magpul Pro sights. Also in a pinch you can mount a Primary arms prism optic to this which will allow you to install 2 out of 3 bolts as the primary arms also uses Acog mounts. It's not perfect, the ADM mini-acog mount is more ideal for Primary arms prisms. There is a titanium version with more narrow levers, but I like th...

These are the absolutely perfect choices if using an ACOG,Burris AR 536, or ANY scope with an ACOG compatible pattern. It gets you up and back far enough for perfect eye relief, and clears the KAC or Matech back up sights without any issues. I'm replacing all my mounts with these, and couldn't be happier.
Pros:
- light,
- Strong Light weight
Best Used for:
- When using attached back up sights

I originally built an M4a1 clone which was aesthetically pleasing but had issues with the ACOG in front of the BUIS.
This completely changed the ACOG for the better for me. The eye relief is greatly improved and the QD means it’s actually possible for me to get the optic off in a reasonable amount of time.
The optic sits a bit higher as well so I do not see the PEQ in the FOV.
This should be an issued item in the military.
