I use it to attach a Magpul bipod. I don't always use the bipod. I don't like the bipod legs out front. This QD mount makes it easy to remove the bipod quickly and put in the rifle case.

Like all American Defense mounts, this is solid and very well made. I used it for a magpul vertical foregrip so I can quickly switch between that and my bipod by using the qd's.
