I bought this for a S&W Governor. It fit well, wasn't too tall, andis very easy to see even with my old eyes. The tritium could be aclarger diameter. Overall I am very pleased with this sight.

Great budget upgrade for the Shield 9mm. This pistol is a great CCW gun. At 7 yards and in the bright orange sight is quick to pick up. Leave the factory rears alone. Easy install...just drift out old and slide in new. Small amount of filing needed.

I love my Ameriglo night sights. My M&p shield 9mm needed a night sight on the front so I could see the end of my pistol at night. It glows bright green and is very easy to see in day and at night. Easy to install yourself too.

I purchased these for the tritium insert but was pleasantly surprised at how quick it is to pick the front sight up in daylight, much quicker than white dot. It matches the factory rear sight gap and shoots to point of aim.

The orange stands out better for me to see easier/quicker. I like the square shape and the tritium dot glows should you need it. The price from optics planet is great too and the availability of the product is a plus.

Using this sight for all my personal defense pistols now...S&W M&P 9's and Glocks. Haven't tried them for IDPA competition but plan to try them when I get a chance.

I have reached that age where my eye sight isn't as good as it used to be so I need a nice big colorful front sight for fast acquisition. This sight has more orange area than the round version which is easier for me to pick up fast. I like the XS big dot sight concept but they only come in white...(I find that bright orange is easier for me to pick up fast) and they are starting to drop the night tritium rear sights on some models which I prefer in some lighting situations where a longer shot may be required, (i.e. large auditorium, parking lot/ garage).

I use this front sight with Ameriglo "i Dot" square notch rear night sight. I don't like 3 dot systems, (too many dots competing for attention). I like the simplicity of this set up and the rear sight provides a good reference without overpowering the all important front sight. Again I like the XS open rear sight concept (easy to find front sight when not line up perfectly), but this set up will work fine especially if you are used to traditional sights.

Basically this is the biggest most visible colored front sight I have found, (and I have looked a lot). They are available formats of the popular guns out there, and they sell front and rear sight separately so that you can combine the best set up for you.

I put this on my S&W shield with a set of 10-8 performance rear sight that's blacked out. It's great to have the orange to catch your eye and the small tritium for low light. Great setup, and I'm very happy!

I purchased this sight for my S&W M&P Shield 45 ACP It wasn't that hard to put on. The sight looks great and the way the orange square fills the rear sight is perfect. I couldn't be more pleased with it. My eye picks it up fast for consistent shots, and at night the tritium glows for quick acquisition of target. I feel you can't go wrong for the price. I chose the square sight because my rear sight is square.

I bought this sight as a hold over until trijicon releases just the Front HD sight. I originally had the HD sights installed on my shield. The last time I went to clean my shield after shooting, I noticed the front sight was gone. This sight was easy to install and is fast to pick up with the contrasting colors.

Perfect sight for our 2 Shields. It gives us fast sight picture in daylight and also the green circle glows well enough in the darkness that you can easily tell where the front sight is. This sight was exactly what my wife and I were searching for to go on our shields. My LGS had no problem/issues installing the sights-perfect fit for the Shields.
