A nice little upgrade
This is pretty spendy for a small part but I am glad I got it. Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39. Replaced the cheap plastic bolt shroud. Fit and finish are fantastic. I do wish I got the black one instead of red but oh well. Search Youtube for install instructions. A quick twist and it slides right on. Should not require force or filing (at least for my rifle).

Does Not Fit
Like others described, this did not properly fit my Ruger American in 6.5 CM. After some minor gunsmithing I was able to make the part work. Tried to call Anarchy for help but no body answers the phone for customer support. Poor product and support.

Excellent Upgrade for Your RAR
I purchased a polished titanium bolt shroud for my 5.56 RARR. It's a near-perfect match for the finish of the stainless steel bolt, and it's a perfect fit with absolutely no play once installed. The rifle functions properly as it did before. The roll pin in the cocking piece on my rifle apparently came from Ruger protruding slightly from one side, and I had to tap it fully into the cocking piece using a punch before the titanium bolt shroud would slide into place; apparently that wasn't an issue for the original plastic bolt shroud due to flexibility and looser tolerances. Buy this bolt shroud if you want a durable and proper-fitting part.

Does not fit all models
Be Carefull purchasing this piece while its NOT for all american rifles and models. WILL NOT FIT ruger american ranch-hunter models and 7mm-08 calibers. After purchasing this piece and seeing it would not fit my rifle RaR 7mm-08. Nothing in the description says this. other websites have just added it to the description after the issue was brought up!.

RAR Bolt Shroud
Fit is great. Finish is Outstanding. Easy to install. Purchased with bolt handle and knob, Very easy to install all parts at the same time. Don't forget the bolt tool, a must have for the easiest install. I will get more for my other RAR's. I highly recommend this product and Optics Planet as a great source for this, and other items.

Easy install and looks good
Not sure what the negatives are the install was beyond simple, slide off the old slide on the new. You only will have issues if you don’t know how to position the trigger cocker at the correct spot (line it up with the bolt handle bottom)….. with it in the right position the shroud slides right off.

Way too tight!
It fits way too tight, makes working the bolt nearly impossible even after several hours of breaking it in. Looks good and would be a great replacement for the cheap factory one if it actually fit properly!
