I was looking for thermal unit for a long time, as there were a lot of different variants with a great range of functions and huge prices. 100mm lens is quite big, so if your hands are weak and you are not ready to deal with additional weight, maybe you should try something else. But I don't have such problem and feel comfortable with it.
I like zoom, allows to detect objects without any difficulties. Very comfortable menu and button controls. Also I was pretty impressed with the variety of color modes – it is always great to be able to choose palette according to the present situation. Great unit, very glad that I bought it, got exactly what I expected.

Perfect unit!
My friends always make fun of me because I am a perfectionist and not perfect things make me go crazy. Several months ago they presented me a scope with 50 mm lens. It was okay, but I knew that imagery wasn’t perfect and there were units with way more features available. So after a while I sold the unit and found Helios HD bino with 100 mm lens. Every time I go hunting I feel that I see a perfect picture and have a device with perfect menu navigation. Moreover, I can record the best moments of my hunting and stop worrying that battery may die at the crucial moment. Now I’ve got everything to cross out a line “To find a perfect thermal unit” from my to-do-list.
