Bulky and lock tight needed

by Notch, from TX, United States Written on February 14, 2018
This scope is on my AR-10 308. The range is good and picture is clear. The accessory rails made me chose this model I could put a RMR on the top for daytime shooting and being able to quickly acquire targets. The side rails however are not built into the scope and are mounts like a scope ring. After the 30 rounds the screws loosen and my top sight was way off and had to be re adjusted. Before using I would highly recommend adding lock tight to the screws and torquing them with at 30lbs. Since the lock tight has been added no other issues have arisen.
Pros:
  • Clear picture.
Cons:
  • Heavy and screws need lock tight
Best Used for:
  • Varmint and hog hunting

Good Value

by foursfed, from OH, United States Written on November 17, 2016
I also had a problem with my scope shutting off from recoil . . . .308. That was solved by stretching the spring in the battery compartment. The windage and elevation adjustments do not track well, but seem to hold zero once adjusted.

Fit and finish is a little on the rough side, but the resolution is good, especially for the cost. If you're a hog or coyote hunter, this will get the job done. I'm hoping the durability will live up to the performance.

Pros Cons we found with this Night Vision Scope

by Mitchell K Muse, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on June 17, 2016
Takes time getting use to added weight on rifle. Recommend a set of shooting sticks. Takes time to adjust to scope images. Infrared light is not enough for low ambient light conditions recommend buying a second infrared light and mounting it. Overall scope does as advertised for a night vision scope. Harvested 5 feral pigs with it.

Hog hunting optic

by Mike, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on January 16, 2015
Customer service, shipping and support have been top notch. Have sighted and the 6X with a partial moon is clear out to 100 yards, waiting to see how far. First hunt with the scope is in the next few weeks, definate advantage and should increase safety while in the field.

Good Scope for the Money

by JR, from KY, United States Written on November 21, 2014
I bought one of these scopes about 6 months ago after seeing one a friend had. I suppose you could get a "better" scope if you paid a couple thousand more dollars, but this one seems to be up to the task. The scope is clear and adjusts easily in daytime or nighttime. The IR illuminator included is adequate for most situations (low to medium moonlight) If the moon is in one of the fuller stages, you can see excellent without the IR. I added a TLR 1 IR Illuminator (streamlight) and it makes the night absolutely daytime. Battery life is great if you use the Lithium batteries. Crosshair is a Duplex with the center illuminated. The Scope holds Zero very well also. No Issues.
I have used this scope for 6 months and have killed 11 Coyotes in 4 months with it mounted on a Savage .204. It's amazing how the Animals act differently at Night...Not as wary and looking around all the time....they know THEY have the Advantage....Till Now.

Gen 2+ deal

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on May 7, 2014
I am amazed at how much scope you get for the money. This scope is Gen 2+, works great on an AR-15 for night hunts.

Half the price of a Gen 3 scope with more then enough capabilities for hunting. You can't go wrong.

I would rather buy 2 of these then 1 Gen 3 scope.

Armasight Nemesis 6x

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on February 18, 2013
This is an excellent scope for the cost. I mounted mine on a Savage model 10 chambered in .223, and it shoots groups the size of a quarter at 100 yards. The scope's design makes it easy to turn on and off, and has three rails to mount IR lights/lasers/whatever. With a good IR light, like a Streamlight Super Tac IR, the scope can see clearly out about 500 yards on a starry moonless night. The included IR light is okay at short ranges, but the Streamlight really extends the usable range.
The included "remote cord" would also be really neat on an AR platform rifle. It's simple enough to hook up to the scope, has a few inches of cord length, and hook-and-loop (Generic velcro, I'm guessing) fasteners to secure it to a weapon easily. I tested it's functionality, and it worked okay. I couldn't find a way to mount it to my bolt-action gun, so I put it back in the box. If you want this scope on an AR, the remote seems like a really nice way of turning it on and off without taking your hands off the grips.
Oh, and batteries are included. 2 generic CR123A style batteries. One for the scope, and one for the included IR illuminator. I've only used the scope for about three hours, so I can't tell how long they last. The scope has an advertised battery life of 60 hours according to the manual.
One of the things I don't like are the turrets. They work, and can be adjusted, but are small and my winter hunting gloves just slide around on them. I'd like it if it came standard with large "tac...

Great Scope for a Gen 2

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on January 31, 2013
Great Gen 2 Scope, nice features easy to use. Just a little big and bulky, but i like how it looks and works great. It would be excellent on a rifle 7mm and up.
Pros: Great visibility, easy to use
Cons: big, bulky, and on the heavy side

Great impression

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on December 26, 2012
I got Nemesis 6x SD version as my Christmas gift and very happy, as due to the holidays I didn't expect it to be delivered on time! This is the great device, five stars! By using it I feel like a real professional as I've never had the night vision scope of such a great quality with the full package of necessary features and functions. Of course I didn't have enough time to put Nemesis through the wringer but I'm sure my future experience won't spoil the first impression so I would surely recommend Nemesis 6x!
