I purchased a PVS-14 Night Vision monocular along with the Armasight Night Vision Weapons Mount for PVS-14 / 6015 Monoculars ANAM000007. I talked with Sue, one of the pros at Optics Planet to help determine if the weapons mount would hold the PVS-14 at the correct level for a Nikon 600 223 BDC scope with AR 15 scope ring mounts. She told me that she didn't think that the weapons mount would match up perfectly with the Nikon on the height,(probably a little high) but would match up on the lateral (since the weapons mount holds the night vision directly over the sight rail).
She was right. The weapons mount holds the PVS-14 about 0.25in. above a perfect center to center matchup. However, the matchup is still good enough so that the cross-hairs on the scope are still visible when looking through scope with the night vision. The night vision is high by about 0.25 of the scope picture. The bottom of the night vision view circle is approximately halfway between the bottom of the scope picture and the cross-hairs. It's definitely something that is workable, but not perfect.
You will also need a full length rail to accommodate both the scope and the weapons mount, unless your scope rings elevate your scope about 0.25 of an inch. Then the scope and the PVS-14 would line up perfectly. The weapons mount could be swapped end for end and mount under the scope (requiring a shorter rail).
The weapons mount is light-weight, but sturdy and high quality. I'm just going to leave...
