perfect for hog hunting
Initially I didn't want to spend to much money on gen3 or thermal, personally I think is gen2 is more than enough for hog hunting, keeping in mind that my average shot is 100-150 yards. Overall scope is very well built, constantly holds zero on .300 winmag, really like features like adapter for both 3V and AA batteries, brightness controlled with a knob. I was pleasantly supplied with the IR illuminator, it's different from what you can see on the image and much more powerfull as I was told in PO customer support it wasn't a mistake, manufacturer has replaced they just haven't changed the images yet.
