The adjustable rheostat and eye relief are great. This is an excellent sight for the money.

This is my first red dot scope. I like the 42 mm. The red dot seemed weak when I sighted in at mid-day on a range, but in the woods it's fine. Pros: value Cons: red dot a little weak for use in bright sun conditions

One of the mounting knurl nuts stripped out after tightening and unable to zero the elevation. Not at all satisfied with this purchase.

Broke on the ffirst 10 shots

I mounted this site to an AR pistol, and within 2 groups of 5 shots, the front lens had dislodged and was cracked. I was not impressed. This is not a 50BMG, it was an AR with a 7.5 inch barrel.

I opted not to get another, but instead used the refund to help pay for a better site.
Pros: Nice wide field of view
Cons: Not very durable.

Barska 42mm Red Dot Scope works as intended

This scope is used on a Panasonic camera for astrophotography as a pointer. The red dot intensity has enough range for daytime on the higher settings and nighttime at the lower two settings. Very low parallax problem so aiming good. It also came with a battery installed and another spare.
Pros: Works well. Good value for the price.
Cons: None
