Most Helpful Positive Review outstanding sight
My buddy and I bought one each and installed them on our Kel-tec .223's. Maybe we are just lucky, but we both sero fast and easy with a laser bore sighting tool, then shot like pros. These sights are insanely accurate. The dot is a "little" bit faint in bright sun, but when considering that the d...

Most Helpful Negative Review Barsak AC10652
The red dot is not bright enough for outdoor hunting or using at an outdoor range. The dot if you can see it is also to small. Good for indoor use only. It is now colecting dust on a shelf. Purchased a Millet, works great. Pros: wide feild of veiw, green and red dot Cons: can not see dot in outd...

Barska 40mm Crap

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on March 4, 2010
Adjustment knob broke off after 200 rds on my cx4 Storm. Do not buy this scope for a rifle it cant handle the recoil. SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!
Pros: I like the red/green dot feature
Cons: Poorly made
Would recommend: No

Shoddy mount, fragile.

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on December 26, 2009
Mount is difficult to get tight and not particularly secure, my sample tended to shake loose after a few magazines. Brightest reticle not bright enough in broad daylight. Also, rotary knob came loose after about 400 rounds or so, causing dot to disappear unless the knob is tweaked just right. Poor durability overall, so I guess you get what you pay for.
Pros: Cheap, multiple reticles
Cons: Bad mount, poor quality controls
Would recommend: Yes

Shifty scope

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on September 6, 2009
A very small shift by the user's eye in any direction results in an error in the point of aim. Your eye MUST be at exactly the same place each time behind the scope for there to be any accuracy at all.

I had this mounted on a lever-action rifle and depending on who shot the firearm, and the position of the shooter, the dot was up to a foot or more off at 100 yards... completely inaccurate and unusable for me.
Cons: Inaccurate.

Red or Green DOT on my xbow pistol

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 19, 2008
I put this on my Barnet X Bow Pistol and it's perfect dead on after one shot but, i only shoot in my back yard 30' so a small Dot works fine here. The price is what i can't get over, this is very well made and comes with scope caps, and the battery! I think this will work out to fifty yards, It's a good scope, i have shot my xbow over 200 time's and it's still shooting on center. OVERALL A GOOD SCOPE 4 the $
Pros: fit on my 3/8 base and can work on my pistols 5.8 base
Cons: The dot is small might not work well at long range say 100 yardes
