Most Helpful Positive Review Lightweight!
Fantastic fixed stock, glad I ponyed up and spent the extra buck on this stock. Despite the notes on the page, it DOES come with the BAD-LBS Lightweight Butt stock & BAD-QDEP End Plate. Dimples on the stock are very smooth, nice finish and extremly easy to install.

Unique buttstock

by Nick, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on October 30, 2024
You don’t need a rifle buffer for the rifle tube, he need a carving buffer for the rifle tube. You also need a carbon buffer for the carbon tube apparently, from what the armorer discussed with me over the phone. I understand that the description says rifle stock means you need a rifle buffer, that’s not the case and the carrier will not reciprocate fully reward if you buy a rifle buffer. That arm development was very good about troubleshooting and discussing the problem with me over the telephone and was apologetic in the erroneous description even though I’m not sure it’s their description or that of optics planet. This function is nicely on an AR 10 or an AR 15 rifle. On an AR 10 rifle, it will certainly benefit from the shooter wearing a recoil pad, but if you’re going to be carrying the thing any distance, it certainly lightens it up a little bit on a rifle that would already otherwise be extraordinarily heavy. I’m not completely sure that this item is worth the full MSRP but if you can get it for $125 or so it certainly is worth that in my estimation. You don’t need a separate buffer tube or buttock as it’s sort of a hybrid of the two that comes in one single package. The locking nut for the butt stock recoil buffer to assembly is replaced by VibraTite thread compound as the manufacturer has determined that this is sufficient.

BAD Sabretube Rifle Length Combo

by TONY, from NY, United States Written on March 15, 2017
Works great, very light weight and a breeze to install. I bought the mid length buffer tube combo set at first but water 2 days at the range I needed something longer. This was prefect. Combine it with the holiday coupon codes it's a pretty decent price.

Only thing I didn't like was that it took forever to process this order. But I guess it was due to the products popularity. At least they didn't charge my card until they had it in stock.
Pros:
  • light weight
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • On backorder for a month
