Beretta let me down
The plastic headpiece (spanning between the two muffs) broke on the third wearing.
Pros: Accoustics were good
Cons: Broke on third time out
Beretta does not stand by its products
Like another reviewer, my pair of ear muffs broke on the third time out. I bought them through the Shootstraight online site in Florida. When I tried to return them, Shootstraight told me it was Beretta's problem. Beretta told me it is Shootstraight's problem. It is hard to believe that Beretta has been in business for 500 years and sells such shoddy products at premium prices.

Separate volume controls on each earpiece are a nice feature. and these fold up quite compactly for carrying in a range bag. Construction is not robust; the batteries in either earpiece are covered only by a simple foam flap, and most every part is plastic. After only 10 months of light duty use, the ear band broke (as it has for other reviewers here) - that may be caused by stresses that arise when stored in the folded position. Some distributors stopped carrying this model, and Beretta USA no longer lists them...haven't located any warranty support yet.

Dont work the 75 dB sound-activated compression and i also have a low hissing background noise in one of the ear muffs at all volume levels. For international constumer no support for the product......

Beretta Gold Series Electronic Ear Muffs
The headband was too small to wear properly which may account for the poor sound amplification. I appreciate that y'all paid the return shipping. The headband did not break as it did for some of your other customers. There was a low hissing background noise in one of the ear muffs at all volume levels.

These muffs do exactly what they advertise, the noise protection is great and the adjustable volume knobs allow you to turn up the volume in either ear to improve hearing when desired.
So far They have not broke like the other two reviewers stated.

Band on both side attachments to earphones broke off on first use. I would expect better from these expensive ear muffs. Don't buy these..
