Most Helpful Positive Review Great mag pouch
This mag pouch takes a little getting used to, but after that initial learning curve, I found it pretty good. I am still slower on the draw from this pouch, and I am still trying to find the optimal hand position to quickly grab a mag and reload, but this will come in time with muscle memory. Great quality, as with most of Bianchi's Accumold gear, and works well with Bianchi's belts. Pros: Great quality, great value Cons: Takes some getting used to

AccuMold Mag Pouch (Double)

I've been using leather or hard plastic open top mag pouches for years. OK for range and competition work BUT leave mags exposed to scuffs and damage for everyday carry. I tried some all leather closed double mag pouches from several manufacturers. Too bulky.

I was skeptical of these AccuMold ones for two reasons. Firstly, they looked bulky in the pics and, secondly, they had belt loops that were significantly wider than my 1.5" belts.

Decided to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised to find that mags slip in and out of these very easily, yet fit snugly. They are far less bulgy than expected, and the despite the wide belt loop they do not move around on my belt.

Be realistic, most of us could carry a gun and mags for the next 30 years and never get into a gunfight where super rapid reloading is required. Unless you expect to get into a gunfight every day, the mag protection benefit far outweighs the slight loss of speed in accessing your mags.

Good product.
Pros:
  • Good fit
  • Slim profile
  • Easy withdrawal
  • Protects mags
  • stays put on belt
  • Easy to conceal
Cons:
  • Wish they were a little cheaper
Best Used for:
  • concealed carry
  • duty

Accumold Double Mag Pouch

Excellent mag carrier. I use mine for packing two Glock G17 magazines. Actually higher quality than my military carry was. I'm not knocking my US Army issue, the quality of both are excellent.
Pros: excellent tactical mag carrier
Cons: none

Bianchi AccuMold 7302 Review.

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on October 31, 2010
Overall a good double magazine pouch for range or open carry duty use. I have a size 2 which I have used for the range to carry Browning/Beretta 92 magazines. I like the material they use, and the flaps help protect the magazines somewhat, and I can use it for different magazines, but I do feel it has some compatibility issues. The belt mount on it is a large piece of plastic on the back, and it prevents me from mounting this at s perfect 9 o'clock position, my preference, since on most of my clothes, that's where one of the belt loops is, and with the large plastic mount there's no way to thread the belt through it to get into the loop without alteration, so it either has to go forward or behind the loop. My other issue is that overall, it's bulkier than some other dual mag pouch options, and It could probably be reduced slightly in size. Overall it's not bad for what it is, and it's more of a duty style rig I understand, but for my civilian uses it could be just a bit better, or at least priced a little more competitively. I still like the product, and it's certainly better than keeping magazines in my pocket or free in a drawer.
Pros: Good quality material, holds many mag types securely.
Cons: Belt loop/mount is bulky, overall size is bulky.
