BlackHawk CRG1 Gloves - Good but Expensive

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on June 6, 2013
These are a nice pair of gloves but I'm not sure they're worth the expense. The sizes are a bit off; I usually wear a large glove but needed an XL for this product. The cost increase for the XL was not really justifiable in hindsight. I do like the fit and materials of the glove. Note that there is no Kevlar on the back of the hand.
Pros: Good craftsmanship, fit, materials
Cons: Cost, lack of cut-resistance on back of hand

Great Frisking

by Legacy Reviewer, from NY, United States Written on March 16, 2012
Have been using these for over a year in police work as field frisking gloves. The fit and dexterity is amazing for gloves with kevlar/slash resistance. I have wide palms and usually require XL sizes b/c of that. A large in these were fine since the material gives a bit. Price a little up there, but worth it!
Pros: Protection, Dexterity, Snug fit

Great gloves for the money!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on September 27, 2010
I bought these gloves about a month and a half ago and so far they have exceeded my expectations. Sizing is true to form. They are extremely comfortable, and that's hard to find in a frisk glove. You lose very little if any dexterity while using them. My only concern is how they will age. The rubber striping on the index and middle finger of each glove is already starting to wear off. This is purely cosmetic but will cause them to look scruffy over time, but I carry them in my back pocket, too. Overall, I highly recommend them.
Pros: Dexterity, Comfort, Price
Cons: Wear and tear over time? Could use more grip on fingertips
