this product performed as advartised. No problems with set up. I would recommend to anyone.

Needs some improvement
Overall an improvement over standard issue shoulder straps, but still lacking. First, the shoulder straps are not on par with modern North Face, Kelty, etc type packs. Second, the adjustments constantly slide because they are not the spring loaded clamp type adjustments found on standard shoulder straps. This is probably a cost saving mechanism. Third, the straps would perform better is they were the rigid hoop style on mountain packs, which these aren't.

A MUST have for ALICE pack frame!
These Straps update the comfort of your ALICE frame to that of a modern pack. If your load is more the 30lbs. The difference is staggering! They cost some bucks, but they are worth the price for the comfort.
Pros: Padded! What the straps should be..NO PAIN!
