I believe you could fit your AR15 with optics and an installed 10 or maybe 20 round magazine, but will not fit with a 30 round magazine in the rifle - just not deep enough. Well padded inside next to rifle though. Very useful rifle case.
Pros: Mag pouches hold steel or PMag AR15, and also fit Tapco AK47 mags easily, well padded inside next to rifle

Great Case for my AR platform gun
Purchased for my M&P Sport II. Perfect fit. Enough room to keep a mag attached but I choose not to. Lots of padding inside to protect your weapon. Five outside pockets to hold mags. Very well made. Strong handle. Good quality stitching and strong zipper that has a place to put a lock.

Good Value Bag
Solid bag for carbine and mid length rifles. Material appears to be durable but not sure of weight/thickness. Nice storage for magazines, targets and/or accessories. I believe the bag will accommodate an attached optic but I have not tried this. The bag works for me. One way zipper is the reason for deduct of one star.

Great Basic Case
This is my SECOND Blackhawk Sportster. I liked the first one so much, I bought another. This case is both sturdy and durable. It has held up well to repeated trips to the range. The five pockets with velcro closures are just the right size, and have enough room for all the different brands of AR magazines that I own, to include P-Mags with Ranger Floor Plates. The rifle section is roomy enough for a rifle with an optic on it.

Gun bag ttttttt
This bag is well made. . The zipper gets caught when you open it all the way. Could us a little more padding the color is fine. . At 15 just fits in with scope. I think if the bag was a little taller and it had more passing it would be a exalent bag

Great product
This case is better than I had anticpated. Very well constructed, ample side pockets for magazines, ammo, and whatever. Delivery was unexpectedly fast. This is perfect for my Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II.

Blackhawk Sportster Tactical Case
Seems like a well made case for the price. My 16 inch AR with scope and bi-pod all fit and will zip up. However if you have a 30 round mag in the gun it will not fit. I recommend this case to my friends. Enjoy!

Fits perfect
If your looking or a good quick gun rangel bag. This is it, it has the holders for ammo, even 100 Rd mags. I use this for long range shooting. I lay on it and shoot on it, it feels great and works great. I will definitely be buying another one when I get another rifle.

Very Nice Case!
I was so pleased with the first Blackhawk Sportster case I purchased last year, that I bought another one. Very well made, quite durable and a great value at this price level. Perfect fit for my ARs with optics attached, and the magazine pouches are also a nice feature. You will not be disappointed.

Great Bag!
Really, really sturdy, exceptionally durable, everything I expected and more. Strong zipper and really good velcro on the magazine pouches. Worth a lot more than what I paid for this tactical rifle case. A great buy!

Darn Decent Case For The Money
The Blackhawk Sportster Tactical Rifle Case is a darn good case for the money and will serve us "couple of times" a month shooters just fine. Ample padding on the inside and the five outside pockets hold 30 round Pmags with dust/impact covers and Ranger floor plates with room to spare. The only reason I didn't rate this case a 5-star is because the case zips closed from the barrel/narrower end of the case rather than the buttstock/wider end of the case. I would be a lot easier and a lot less strain on the zipper if the zip closed function started at the wide/narrower end. You'll see what I mean if you buy this case. Also, I was under the impression that this case was made in the USA but it's made in Vietnam.
